Your dashboard

What's on the Overview, Account, Subscription and Feedback pages of your Contral dashboard.

Your Contral dashboard at contral.ai/overview shows your plan, your usage against your limits, and your account settings. Sign in with the same account you use in the editor.

The dashboard has four pages in the left sidebar (a menu button on mobile): Overview, Account, Subscription and Feedback. Your name or email and a sign-out button are in the top-right corner.

Dashboard Overview page#

The Overview page (contral.ai/overview) is the home of your Contral dashboard.

  • Plan badge. Next to "Welcome back" you'll see your plan: Free, Pro (green), Pro+ or Teams (purple), or AppSumo Tier 1, 2 or 3 (amber).
  • Activity totals. Cards for Total LLM Calls, Build Messages, Learn Segments and Deep Dives.
  • 30-Day Usage. A daily bar chart of your activity over the last 30 days.
  • Time in IDE. How your time splits between Build mode and Learn mode.
  • Learning Progress. Topics done, segments completed and hints used in Learn mode.
  • Today's Usage. Today's counts for build messages, BYOK messages, learn explanations, auto-teach cards, deep dives and recursive runs. Once you've used them, it also shows codebase runs this month, sessions (lifetime) and codebase chats (lifetime).
  • BYOK Token Usage. Total tokens and an estimated cost when you use your own API keys. Costs are estimates based on average pricing; your provider's bill is the real number.
  • Quick Actions. Links to download the desktop IDE, upgrade your plan (Free plan only), and manage your subscription.

Note

The Today's Usage numbers are the same counters Contral's servers use to enforce your plan's limits, and they update in real time. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC; monthly limits reset on the 1st of the month (UTC). See Usage limits & quotas explained.

Dashboard Account page#

The Account page (contral.ai/account) holds your Contral profile.

  • Profile. Your display name, email address, an Email Verified badge if your email is verified, and your plan badge.
  • Display Name. Click to edit the name Contral shows for you, then save.
  • Connected Accounts. The sign-in methods linked to this account (Google, GitHub, or email and password).
  • Danger Zone. Permanently delete your account. See Delete your account.

Your email address can't be changed from the dashboard. If you need to move your account or AppSumo license to another email, contact support.

Dashboard Subscription page#

The Subscription page (contral.ai/subscription) looks different depending on your plan.

  • AppSumo lifetime license: "Your plan" with AppSumo Tier 1/2/3 and an Active badge, and the note "Manage this license through your AppSumo account." Tier changes and refunds happen on AppSumo.
  • Paid subscription (Pro, Pro+, Teams): your plan, billing interval (monthly or annual), price, next billing date, Manage Billing, an upgrade button for the next plan up, Cancel Subscription, and your Payment History (date, amount, status).
  • Free plan: "You are currently on the free tier", a plan comparison table, and a link to upgrade.

For billing tasks, see Subscriptions, upgrades & cancellation.

Dashboard Feedback page#

The Feedback page (contral.ai/feedback) sends feedback straight to the Contral team from your signed-in account.

  1. Pick a category: Bug Report, Feature Request, UX Feedback, Performance or Other.
  2. Add a subject and a message.
  3. Optionally attach up to 3 images (5 MB each), such as screenshots.
  4. Submit. You'll see "Feedback sent! We'll reply via email."

Your earlier feedback is listed on the same page with its status (Submitted, Under Review, Resolved or Closed) and any replies from the Contral team.

For urgent account or billing problems, use the support form instead. See Contact support.

Email verification banner on the dashboard#

If you signed up with email and password and haven't verified your email yet, the dashboard shows a yellow banner: "Please verify your email to get full access to Contral IDE." Click Send Verification Email, then click the link in the email. Google and GitHub accounts don't need this step.

Still stuck? Ask the support assistant in the corner of this page, or open a support ticket.
